Please, no photomanipulation or digital art. There are many other groups for those methods and we admire them. This group is only for HAND PAINTED,HAND DRAWN or HAND SCULPTED --abstract, contemporary, modern, surrealistic or other similar styles of work using any HAND DRAWN or HAND PAINTED mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, oils, pastels, ink, charcoal etc. OK to add PARTLY PAINTED and/or PARTLY DRAWN collages and PAINTED WAX/encaustic collages. Our ABSTRACT ART group tries to break away from traditional representations which attempt to make a virtual photograph. We enjoy exploring relationships between colors, shapes, contrasts and textures. Although stylized, our subjects are often VERY recognizable and detailed.
