Chiaroscuro is Italian for "light-dark". It is a term once most often applied to renaissance art that focused on deep contrasts between light and dark, but now also applies to photography and cinematography as a description for lighting that shows intense contrasts between light and dark. Do you paint or photograph like Caravaggio or Rembrandt? Does you use light to model dimensionality in your art or photography? Then this is the place for you to show your work and share your techniques Limit 6 per day. All forms of art that fit the bill are accepted.
