By 'hand crafted' I mean that simple Photoshop filters that create mosaics that look more like views through wavy glass are not appropriate as they don't have any of the typical mosaic tile placements that lend vitality and flow to the art. However if you have digitally placed those tiles so that they follow the forms of the art as is typically done in mosaic tile work, then the work is acceptable for inclusion.

The piece chosen as the avatar for this group represents the intent; it is a digital creation but appears to be a photograph of an actual mosaic that was hand crafted with tiles, and each tile has its own highlight and shadow giving it a three dimensional appearance. (The 'tiles' may appear to be glass, stone, pebbles, jewels, etc.)
