I live in the Thompson-Okanagan, a beautiful, grassland valley region in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. Most of my creative works are inspired by this special place. In recent years it has blossomed into a popular summer resort area, with insane amounts of lake-side development now scratched into the valley's hills. An arid area to begin with, the rush to develop it into a mini-California is taxing water supplies, and threatening already fragile ecosystems. Most of my artistic output now revolves around the tension between the beautiful vistas, the local flora and fauna, and the rapid, unsustainable development of the region.
