As both a mixed media and multimedia artist I don't have any singular defining style. I'm influenced and guided by the paints, photographs, video, found objects or other materials and substrates that I work with. Much of my work begins with a digital photograph altered and painted using a pressure sensitive stylus pen. Then using image transfer techniques that have adopted from earlier, chemically based processes now being done using non-toxic substances, a digital print is hand pulled from a transparency printed using archival pigment-based inks. Once the transfer has been made to heavy printmaking papers, wood or almost any substrate, work with additional paints, mediums and other materials takes place.
