Login to your Imagekind admin and click on the "Storefront" tab in the navigation bar. Once in the dashboard section of your Storefront admin, click "Open Your Storefront Now!" You can then easily view your storefront by either clicking on the "view my store" link directly above the tabs in your Storefront admin or typing in your Storefront URL.

Can I see some examples of Imagekind Storefronts?
When it comes to Imagekind Storefronts, the customization options are near limitless. We provide some basic themes and templates, but if you're savvy and know some HTML & CSS, you can just about completely modify your Storefront to look how you want it!
Several artists use their Storefront as an extension of their main, personal website. This is a great idea! Building a purchase path directly into your personal website is a great way to help increase sales. That way, visitors to your site have an easy and direct path to purchasing your artwork. All the while, never making them feel like they have left your site!

What is a storefront?
Imagekind Storefronts are the easiest way to direct your shoppers to your art prints for sale. You can customize your Storefront to look however you want, which is a perfect way to keep consistency with your personal website. Additionally, Storefronts help streamline the process for your shoppers by allowing them to focus on your art and your designated information.

Why are some customization options not available in the theme I chose?
As you change between the various themes you will notice that certain themes have different layouts which allow you to customize the features. This usually includes where certain features are located. Such as the navigation bar, newsletter signup, etc. Certain themes allow you this greater level of customization.

How do I upload a header or footer image?
From the Storefronts admin page located in your Imagekind admin, click on the "Options" tab. From there you can upload a custom header and footer image. To avoid your header and footer being cropped or stretched when uploaded, be sure that the pixel dimensions match the specified dimensions within each theme. Additionally from this page, you can change the background, text and link colors of the header and footer.

What is a mailing list?
The mailing list option is the perfect way to keep in contact with visitors to your Imagekind Storefront. You can modify this option from either the "Options" or "Advanced" tab in your Storefront admin. Please make sure you are both familiar with and follow email marketing best practices. Please note it is your responsibility to handle the content, delivery and unsubscribe requests of your emails and list.

What does Navigation Mean?
Navigation is the tabs that are displayed within your Storefront. Navigation allows your visitors to easily browse through the various pages within your Storefront. Edit which tabs are active and in which order they display within your Storefront by going to the "navigation" tab in your Storefront admin. If you deactivate a tab on the navigation, it will no longer display in your Storefront.

What does CSS mean?
CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and is a technically advanced feature for customizing your Imagekind Storefront. For the more technically advanced user, we have provided the options to edit the CSS on both the theme level and the individual pages level. You can edit the CSS of the theme on the "Theme" tab in your Storefront admin. Likewise, you can edit the CSS of individual pages by going to the "Pages" tab.
Please note, editing your Storefront's CSS is an advanced option and requires technical experience. If you are not familiar with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) we request that you learn the basics before editing your Storefront. Imagekind does not provide support for Storefronts where the CSS has been edited. If you have edited the CSS and wan to convert back to the default settings, go to the "Options" tab and press the "Reset to Default" button at the bottom.

What does it mean to deactivate a link on the nav?
Deactivating the links on the nav will remove them from your Storefront. You can choose to deactivate all of the links except for the galleries link by going to the "Navigation" tab in your Storefront admin.

How do I hide or turn off my Storefront?
If you no longer wish to utilize your Imagekind Storefront, or hide it as you make updates, you are free to use the "Pause Storefront" option on the "Dashboard" tab. This will temporarily disable your Storefront until you hit the "Start Storefront" button again.

What does a custom page mean?
Adding custom pages allows you to add additional pages to your Imagekind Storefront. These can be anything from a contact page, about the artist page, or anything else you can imagine! Custom pages are one more way you can customize the look and feel of your Storefront. To add custom pages, go to the "Pages" tab in your admin and click the "Add New Page" button. You can then add and edit the text, HTML and images for this specific page.
To preview your new page, click the "Save Changes" button. You will notice that this lists the new page in the "Drafts" sections. You can now press the "Preview" button to see the updates. Once you are ready for your page to go live on your Imagekind Storefront, click the "Publish" button.

How do I redirect my Imagekind URL to my storefront?
Redirecting your Imagekind URL to your Storefront is easy. From your Storefront admin go to the "Options" tab and change the "redirect URL" option to "Storefront." Redirecting your Imagekind URL to your Storefront is a great way to easily point visitors of your website, blog, or other personal site to your Imagekind Storefront. You can choose the redirect option if you would like your Imagekind URL (http://username.imagekind.com) to lead visitors directly to your Storefront instead of your profile page on Imagekind.

Why would I set the homepage of my storefront as inactive?
We've given you the option to deactivate your Storefront's homepage if you would like to use your Imagekind Storefront as an extension to your personal website. Deactivating the homepage leads visitors to your website directly to your art prints for sale in your galleries in your Imagekind Storefront.

How do I add Google Analytics to my Storefront?
In order to add Google Analytics to your Imagekind Storefront, you first must setup a Google Analytics account by visiting www.google.com/analytics. Once you have setup your Analytics account, you will see your tracking ID located next to the URL of your storefront in the Analytics dashboard. Please note, the tracking code starts with the letters "UA-". You will need to copy and paste the entire number (including the "UA-" into the box located in your Imagekind admin, under Storefronts, and the Advanced tab.
