The category of Surrealism is a much broader category that would include artists like Salvador Dali, H.R. Geiger, M.C. Escher,and Rob Gonsalves. Lowbrow is actually a branch of the Surrealist movement, and Lowbrow should be regraded as the most modern form surrealism.
