Refraction occurs when light passes from one substance to another of different density. This bending of light can occur in air, water, ice crystals, glass, etc. Some examples for this gallery would be: rainbows, halos, sundogs, fogbows, flattened and distorted sunsets, spectrums emerging from prisms, upside down images in dew drops or glass balls, the bending of straight objects when seen in air and water at the same time. You get the idea.

This is open to all art forms, but I’d like to keep it true to subject. If you have any question as to whether or not refraction is involved, post a message to the group for discussion. Who know, we might even learn something while delighting in the beauty and inspiration of refracted light.
