Technology are tools for accomplishing our goals and dreams. There is a beauty and elegance to their design and use which is often unappreciated since we take them for granted. Paint brushes, pencils, pens, computers are tools but we take them for granted because they are a means to an end. Technologies such as rockets, space shuttles, satellites, and space stations represent the grandest of our dreams allowing us to literally reach beyond are physical boundaries. Many nations work together in peace on the largest engineering project -- the International Space Station. Others are developing their own human space programs. With our tools of design and creation we dream and build the future of humankind, which is destined to go beyond the Earth to fulfill our natural tendencies to explore whether through art or stepping onto to new worlds.
